Tasks: more flexible frequency options
You can now create recurring tasks with more granular and customizable intervals, such as every 4 days, every Tuesday and Thursday, every 3 weeks, the last day of each month, every 5 years on the first Friday of June, etc.
Contacts: sync to your device
Apple Contacts users can now sync their contacts to their iOS/iPadOS/macOS device via CardDAV.
Appliance Intelligence: new public tool
We've launched Appliance Intelligence, new public tool that parses an image of an appliance tag or nameplate and returns basic information about the device, a link to its instruction manual (if available), and up to 3 recommended maintenance tasks.
Devices: pre-fill details from photos
You can now upload a photo of a device tag or nameplate to pre-fill the details (manufacturer, model, serial number, etc.) to help you quickly add new devices.
Documents: automatic backups to Google Drive and Dropbox
Customers on the Homeowner and Pro plans can now connect their Google Drive and Dropbox accounts to automatically backup their documents.
Tasks: 'as-needed' frequency added
You can now create tasks that are not recurring and follow no set schedule. This is useful to keep track of one-off or irregular tasks, such as a quick repair or periodic inspection.
Documents: new features and improvements
We've made a number of improvements to Documents, focused on improving organization and usability:
- Deleting documents now moves them to the trash bin, where they can be restored or permanently deleted. Documents in the trash bin will be permanently deleted after 30 days.
- New document categories and types have been added.
- Documents can now be assigned an effective date, e.g. the date of purchase, installation, or repair.
- The list page now has a cleaner set of controls. You can now filter by document name, category, type, and attachment (properties, devices, contacts, etc).
Devices: warranty tracking added
You can now track the warranties for your devices.
Public release
After months of development and extensive testing, the app is released to the public. Key features include:
